Transformative education for students in grades K-10 in a caring, therapeutic day school setting.
Thank you to all our Palo Alto families who stepped aboard EBC Airlines yesterday evening for a trip around the world of art! All year long, our students have created art through a global lens, from Guatemalan barrilete kites to Chinese moon festival lanterns to Indian mandana and mandala paintings to Scottish pictish stones and more! It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and dedication that went into each project over the course of the year, and we hope you enjoyed the final products as much as we did. Special thanks to Ms. Maria for envisioning and executing this international adventure!
Palo Alto families, we can’t wait to see you TONIGHT for our annual Art Show! This yearly event is just one of the many traditions that make EBC’s community such a special one. Come celebrate a year’s worth of creative endeavors and enjoy refreshments and good company! South Bay families, we look forward to seeing you at our South Bay art show next Tuesday!
If your EBC student receives speech and/or OT services, you won’t want to miss this month’s Parent Information Session, happening this Thursday 4/25 at 6:00 pm on Zoom! Join SLP Nicole Wdowiak and OT Seema Motwani as they provide insight on how they support skill development in the school setting, and answer your burning questions about how you can do the same at home! Register for "School-Based OT and SLP Q&A" at the link.
Happy Earth Day from our Beloved Community! 🌎Happy Earth Day to our wonderful community! 🌍💚 Today, we celebrate the beauty of our planet and the small steps each of us can take to make a big difference.Growing your own produce isn’t just a rewarding hobby; it’s a powerful way to care for our Earth. By cultivating gardens, we reduce the need for plastic packaging, cut down on emissions from transportation, and support a more sustainable food system. Our enthusiastic students at Esther B. Clark Schools are already ahead of the curve, working with their hands in the earth, learning not just about the science of plants, but also the joy and satisfaction that comes from growing something of their own. 🌼👩🌾Gardening is also a fantastic activity for mental health. According to an article from the Mayo Clinic, gardening can boost mood, decrease stress, and even improve cognitive function. Do our eyes deceive us?! These South Bay staff tricksters pulled a fast one on their students by dressing like them for April Fool’s Day! We love celebrating the day with a little silliness.
