Announcing New Head of Sand Hill School: Jeff Kozlowski
We are very pleased to introduce our new Head of Sand Hill School, Jeff Kozlowski. Jeff has over twenty years as an educator and champion of students, families and teachers, and extensive background in working with children with learning differences.
Jeff worked as a teacher and Director of Special Education at the Winston School in Del Mar, California, and then assumed the position of principal of New Haven Youth and Family Services in Los Angeles. Most recently, Jeff served as the Head of School at Fusion Academy’s Walnut Creek campus.
For Jeff, kids have always come first:
“Throughout my twenty one years in the classroom and educational leadership, my highest priority has been to deliver the most unique, personalized and relevant education possible to every child. I promise to bring that same passion and commitment to Sand Hill by building lasting relationships with each family, appreciating the talents or our staff and making authentic connections within the community.”
At the end of the 2016-2017 school year, our current Head of Sand Hill School, Cindy Lopez, will transition to her new role as Senior Program Manager for Community Education at CHC. As Founding Head of Sand Hill, Cindy successfully built an exceptionally strong program and cultivated an amazing teaching faculty so that Sand Hill now has a solid, positive reputation in our community.
We look forward to welcoming Jeff to the CHC team.
