Kids We Serve at Sand Hill
Our teachers and staff are specially trained to work with children with learning differences. Head of School Jeff Kozlowski, Assistant Head of School Heather Whitlock and Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Ramsey Khasho have put together the best combination of teachers, clinicians and therapists to assure Sand Hill students get all the support they need to be successful.
Students at Sand Hill School are in grades 1-8 and have been diagnosed with dyslexia, or a related language-based learning difference. We know that attention and anxiety issues often accompany dyslexia; however, potential Sand Hill students must have a primary diagnosis of dyslexia or related language-based learning difference for admission.
We pride ourselves on matching students to the right classrooms. It’s an art. This means that we take the time to get to know your child and family. We evaluate your child for best fit based on their strengths and challenges, as well as on the mix of students in each classroom so we can provide the optimum learning environment for your child.
We know how to help kids believe in themselves and love school again.
