Roya Afshar, MA

Roya is a mom to a wonderful, middle school-aged daughter. Roya is in the US Army Reserves with more than 13 years of military service. After many years of active duty service, she decided to hang up her boots and step into the classroom. She always wanted to be a teacher when she grew up, so she is living her childhood dream. She is passionate about health and nutrition and is always ready for a new fitness challenge. She believes that there are many paths to success and is fervent about helping ALL students find their own path.
