Lindsay Fabela
Transition Coordinator
Lindsay was the Executive Assistant to CHC’s CEO, Dr. Rosalie Whitlock, for three years before moving into her new role of Transition Coordinator. Her new role is a temporary position at the agency to assist Dr. Whitlock and the Executive Team in preparing for Rosalie’s retirement (in June of 2022)—and supporting the Board of Directors, specifically the Search Committee—chaired by Board member Steve Heitel.
Lindsay has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and has a Minor in Communication (Graphic) Design. Before coming to CHC, Lindsay worked in several different divisions at Charles Armstrong School between 2009-2018. In between her roles at Armstrong, Lindsay worked in social media and marketing, graphic design, business management, and start-ups in various capacities. This dynamic and well-rounded background—and her education and experience in entrepreneurship—enables Lindsay to thrive in the Executive Office under Rosalie’s leadership.
A strong advocate for progressive education and mental health and wellness, Lindsay finds much joy in working for CHC. Lindsay spends her free time at her beautiful home in Mount Hermon in the Santa Cruz Mountains with her partner Max, spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, and practicing yoga. Lindsay’s recent excitement is around her new Bernese Mountain Dog, Kaya, who will be moving to “The Manzanita Treehouse” come July/August 2021.
