Liana Zannis, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Liana completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Loyola Marymount University. She graduated with a Masters degree in social welfare from the University of California, Los Angeles and then completed a fellowship in clinical social work at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Liana has worked in a variety of settings including: in-home, hospital, outpatient and clinical research. Specializations included both inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings, providing anticipatory grief counseling and end of life/bereavement support to patients and families coping with a child’s complex, acute and/or chronic illness. As part of a team, Liana delivered a school readiness program to children with learning differences with the goals of developing self-regulation and building healthy relationships. Creating a customized approach, Liana utilizes a variety of modalities with the treatment goal being to enhance the child’s and family’s strengths and unique qualities, increasing awareness, insight and empowerment.
