Lauren Flores, ASW

Classroom Clinician

Lauren is an associate clinical social worker, that has a passion for working with youth. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in both psychology and sociology in 2013 from UC Santa Cruz and with her master’s in social work from San Jose State University in 2020. Lauren has worked in the mental health field since 2012 in a variety of settings including residential board and care homes, community based outpatient clinics, and with youth, young adults and adults. Lauren loves using a creative approach to her work and enjoys art, going out into nature and doing DIY projects as part of her therapeutic interventions. Lauren believes in empowering children and families to share their stories and work on personal goals through building a foundation of trust, hope and by learning about each person’s unique interests and personality. In her free time, Lauren loves hiking, traveling, enjoying a cup of warm tea at home and doing crafts with family and friends.
