Gerry Fortain

Gerry is a recent transplant from New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Prior to coming to Sand Hill he worked as an analytical chemist/microbiologist, with the intent to eventually bring that experience to the classroom. He enthusiastically shares his wonder about the natural world with anyone who will listen, and takes pride in his ability to make math/science accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. In his free time Gerry likes to do anything outdoors, woodworking and to make music with whatever instrument he can find lying around.
