She received her nurse practitioner training from University of California, San Francisco working with children, adolescents and adults in outpatient, school and crisis stabilization settings and served as a teaching assistant for UCSF’s Management of Psychotropic Regimens course. She completed specialized training in Emotionally-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) through UCSF’s Intensive Family Therapy program and completed her final residency in outpatient child and adolescent psychiatry at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Los Altos.
