CHC’s IOP gave me the tools to live a life worth living.
I entered IOP exactly a month after I was released from a two-week hospital stay, and graduated about three and a half months later. I suffered from depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation/attempts. I look back at my experience in IOP now, and the progress I made and to not only live, but to thrive as well. Ultimately, CHC’s IOP gave me the tools to live a life worth living.

Sand Hill School has given our child a second chance…
Our son has attended Sand Hill School for the past year. He entered the school a depressed and stressed child but his self-esteem has been transformed. No longer does he immediately respond to each school problem by crumbling; he now says, “I may not get it yet, but I will get it soon.” He is an advocate for his needs and no longer a victim of learned helplessness. We have also received amazing OT services at CHC. We feel like Sand Hill School has given our child a second chance at a happy school experience.

My kid hated school. He had some anger issues, very low self-esteem, and some health issues. People weren’t believing in him. A friend told me about Sand Hill, and from the moment we got there everything changed. Every day that I dropped him off, I felt I was dropping him off to a family—a family that believed in him, that wouldn’t give up on him, that held him to high standards, that loved him. They never ever gave up on him.

I have the EBC program and the staff there to thank for who I am today.
Having put about four or five years between me and EBC, I can confidently say that Esther B. Clark School is an amazing program that absolutely changed my life. It helped me deal with my issues and become an infinitely better person. I am so glad I went through this program. Now, to be fair, it was hard. Insanely hard. But that’s not really the program’s fault. Overall, I have the EBC program and the many staff working there to thank for who I am today. It’s an amazing program and I can’t sing the praises of it enough.
