Rachel Kalin

Rachel has over a decade of experience teaching students with language-based learning differences, including several years as a language arts and yearbook teacher at Chartwell School. She holds a California K-8 teaching credential and received an MA in education from Washington University in St. Louis. In 2019, she earned a certificate in educational therapy from UCSC-Silicon Valley Extension and has training and experience using techniques of Lindamood-Bell, Wilson Reading System, Barton Reading and Spelling, and Making Math Real. Her goal in teaching is to help students use their strengths and interests to spark a passion for learning.
