Michael Aldrich

At an early age Michael attended a school for children with learning issues. He experienced first-hand the difference individualized instruction by dedicated teachers could make in a child’s development and confidence. Believing in the importance of early intervention, Michael decided to spend several summers volunteering at the very school he had attended. He experienced the satisfaction of helping a young person grasp concepts that they thought were beyond them. This experience cemented Michael’s belief that he wanted a career working closely with children. His undergraduate degree is in psychology and he intends to pursue a masters in child psychology.

Michael came to the Esther B. Clark School through an internship program. Once here, he saw the dedication of the staff and the opportunity to help children reach their potential. He says that there is no better job for him because each day he knows that what he does makes a difference, not just for that child that day but for that child’s future as well.
