As our daughter prepares to go off to college, we know she needs support with academic organization. We also wanted to refresh her documentation for accommodations and give her a good picture of her strengths and challenges. CHC has always been a dependable source of information, so I was excited to learn that services through the SLC were now available. Our daughter began engaging with a learning specialist at SLC who showed her tools to build organizational skills on day one. Her confidence in this area is already improving.
We then pursued a full educational assessment. Not only was the process from start to finish extremely efficient and professional, it was also delivered with the care and compassion for which CHC is known. We discovered new things about her learning profile and only a week later, she is implementing strategies she never realized would help her. With these supports in place, I believe it will make her transition to college much smoother.
