Raising resilient kids isn’t about shielding them from stress — it’s about equipping them to handle life’s curve balls with confidence and care.
In this warm and insightful talk, CHC Child and Adolescent Therapist, Abby Havlik, shares practical, research-backed strategies to help parents and caregivers support emotional growth at home.
Whether your child is facing big emotions, school stress, or just the ups and downs of everyday life, this session offers guidance you can actually use.
You’ll learn:
- What resilience really means — and what it doesn’t
- How to help kids tolerate frustration and bounce back from setbacks
- Ways to build their “resilience bank” through small, daily interactions
- How your own emotional regulation influences theirs
- What to say (and what not to do) when your child is struggling
