Valerie Stephens

Valerie has over 25 years of experience teaching students with a wide range of learning differences and abilities at various grade levels. In addition to teaching at notable private schools, she was also the founder and director of a learning center in Southern California that offered academic enrichment and support for students in elementary and middle school. Originally from Menlo Park, she graduated from Castilleja School in Palo Alto. She earned a BA in Psychology from the University of California at Davis and holds a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. In her free time, she loves to travel, go to the beach, try new restaurants, and spend time with friends and family. Valerie is thrilled to be a part of the team at Sand Hill School.
