The CHC Breakfast

Building Bridges Between
Mental Health and Learning

THANK
YOU

for supporting The CHC Breakfast
and the work of CHC

With Special Guests:

Stephen Hinshaw

Stephen P. Hinshaw, PhD

Author of Another Kind of Madness: A Journey Through the Stigma and Hope of Mental Illness

Steve will bring his deep experience with ADHD/LD to his remarks at the breakfast this year. He will dispel myths about ADHD, help us better understand the basis of learning and attention differences (and the anxiety and depression that often accompany them), and share guidelines to support how we can be the best parents we can be.

Dewey Rosetti

Dewey Rosetti

Parent, author, youth advocate, co-founder of Parents Education Network

Dewey will speak about her experiences as a frustrated parent of two girls with learning differences and how she learned to manage her concerns by connecting with other parents, students and educators. She ultimately became a founder of Parents Education Network (PEN) so other parents could have a better experience than she did.

Dr. Khasho is Chief Clinical Officer at CHC with over 20 years’ experience evaluating and treating children, teens and families. He specializes in pediatric anxiety and depression, ADHD, ASD, assessment and family therapy. Dr. Khasho led CHC’s Teen Mental Health Initiative which has resulted in more therapy for teens including an IOP, increased public awareness and ongoing collaboration with multiple local community organizations.
