Celebrating 70 Years of Service
We are grateful to the dedicated individuals who have contributed to the strength and resilience of CHC.
It all started from a Palo Alto nursery school in 1953 with eleven children, two staff, dedicated volunteers, and a bold vision. CHC founder and beloved neighborhood pediatrician, Esther B. Clark, MD, envisioned a place where families could find help for their children.
CHC became a beacon of hope for families needing specialized support. Through the extraordinary perseverance of our leadership and volunteers, CHC now serves 20,000+ individuals annually through education programs, clinical services, and free programming and resources.
We are deeply grateful to the former board members and leadership who have invested their time and treasure, making CHC an indispensable resource for generations to come.
